Whether it's an accessible hotel suite, showers for a spa or gym, or end-of-trip facilities in the workplace, every public building offering shower facilities to non-disabled people must also provide an accessible option. At Fitzroy of London, we support our customers in providing compliant, well-designed, accessible showering facilities across various settings. Our selection of convenient Doc M shower packs and individual products makes this process straightforward.
A Doc M shower pack is designed for use by wheelchair users, ambulant disabled, infirm, and walking-impaired individuals. These packs include all items needed to create a compliant showering space. Specific contents may vary, but each pack typically contains:

Fitzroy of London's Doc M shower packs are supplied with either a concealed or an exposed shower valve. Understanding the differences is key to selecting the right pack for your project.
A Concealed Valve Shower vs, an Exposed Valve Shower
A concealed valve pack is designed for in-wall installation, where the shower valve is hidden behind the wall, and only the controls are visible. The fixed, anti-vandal shower head's pipework is also concealed.
"Concealed valve packs offer a streamlined look, hiding the plumbing behind the wall."
An exposed valve pack is designed for solid walls without ducting. The valve and controls are visible, with a fixed pipe carrying the water supply to the anti-vandal shower head.
Both systems can be installed with or without the fixed anti-vandal head, using nuts to block off appropriate feed points. The adjustable shower head can be hand-held or wall-mounted.
An anti vandal shower head, designed for optimal safety and tamper-resistance
All shower equipment from Fitzroy of London includes a built-in thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) to prevent scalds. Our TMV3 valves are preset to a maximum of 41°C to comply with Water Supply Regulations, ensuring safety and compliance.
Disabled shower cubicles must include a shower seat to comply with Approved Document M.
