About Grantley Hall

Nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, Grantley Hall seamlessly blends stately grandeur with contemporary elegance. This 17th-century estate has been meticulously restored to offer 47 luxurious bedrooms and suites, five exceptional restaurants - including the Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall - three stunning bars, and award-winning spa and wellness facilities.

The Brief

Fitzroy of London collaborated with PoB Hotels, Relais & Châteaux, and Ripon Interiors to design stylish, accessible washrooms for Grantley Hall. The objective was to supply products in a polished nickel finish that complemented the Samuel Heath Style Moderne fittings used elsewhere in the hotel.

Our Approach

Understanding the importance of cohesive design, we selected pieces from our Signature range, specifically the Kirkman & Hanson Collection, known for its timeless elegance and adaptability. The polished nickel finish was meticulously chosen to harmonise with Grantley Hall's blend of classical and contemporary elements, ensuring a seamless integration that enhances the overall aesthetic.

The Result

The collaboration resulted in accessible washrooms that exude luxury and functionality. By carefully integrating our Signature Range with the hotel's design language, we created spaces that are both inviting and practical, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Value To The Customer

By working with Fitzroy of London, Grantley Hall achieved:

  • Inclusive bathroom design: Ensuring all guests, regardless of mobility, can enjoy the facilities without compromise.

  • Luxury accessible bathrooms: Combining opulence with accessibility, reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence.

  • Seamless integration: Our expertise in accessible bathroom products ensured that the new installations complemented the existing decor, maintaining the hotel's cohesive design narrative.

169 Fulham Road

Memorial Houston Medical (MhM) in South Kensington reimagines clinical recovery as a design‑led experience - six patient suites set within a former jewellery boutique on Fulham Road, curated with museum‑grade art and hospitality training from the Dorchester Collection Academy.
Materials such as Calacatta marble, bronzed brass and eucalyptus wood create a calming aesthetic, complemented by a 24‑carat gold leaf ceiling mural of London’s streets and waterways that crowns the wellness area. Neuroaesthetics guide the interior palette and artwork selection to positively influence mood and aid recovery; an ethos visible from reception to ensuite bathrooms.
