Whether visiting for leisure or business, guests enjoy thoughtful amenities, relaxed service, and easy access to local attractions like HMS Victory and Paultons Park. The hotel also features four versatile conference rooms, making it a destination for both corporate events and celebrations.

The Brief

IHG sought to elevate the guest experience at voco Fareham – Solent by integrating inclusive bathroom design that would meet accessibility standards without compromising on style. The bathrooms needed to reflect the hotel’s modern aesthetic while ensuring functionality for all users.

Fitzroy of London was selected for our reputation as accessible bathroom experts, working alongside TC Building & Refurbishment Ltd to deliver a solution that balanced elegance, durability, and compliance.

Our Approach

We specified products from our Style Range in a Matt Black finish (Premium rimless right handed luxury close coupled Doc M toilet pack, lockable cistern lid, TMV3 tap, matt black (RAL 9005) - chosen for its bold, contemporary appeal and ability to complement the hotel’s interior palette. Our team worked closely with contractors to ensure every detail aligned with both aesthetic goals and regulatory requirements.

Key considerations included:

  • Ergonomic placement of fixtures for ease of use

  • Seamless integration with the hotel’s design language

  • Durable finishes suited to high-traffic hospitality environments

  • Customisation to meet spatial constraints and guest needs

Our collaborative process ensured that the final installation reflected both the creative vision and technical precision required by commercial interior designers.

The Result

The completed bathrooms at voco Fareham – Solent showcase how accessible bathroom products can be both functional and visually striking. The Matt Black finish adds a refined edge, while discreet accessibility features ensure comfort and dignity for every guest.

This project stands as a compelling bathroom example of how thoughtful design can enhance user experience without sacrificing style—an approach increasingly valued in hospitality environments.
