About The Peninsula, London
Superbly located alongside Hyde Park Corner and Wellington Arch, The Peninsula London occupies one of the most sought-after addresses in the city. A newly built landmark in Belgravia, the hotel is designed to blend seamlessly with the area's historic architecture while offering exceptional modern comfort. It stands just moments from Kensington Gardens and London's most iconic cultural and retail destinations, setting a new standard for luxury hospitality in the capital.
The Brief
Designing inclusive spaces for a project of this stature required the highest level of aesthetic and technical precision. The design teams needed to ensure that inclusive bathroom design across the hotel’s accessible rooms matched the exacting standards of The Peninsula brand. Every element had to reflect the hotel’s elegant, contemporary palette while maintaining strict compliance with accessibility regulations.
Our Approach
Fitzroy of London supported the designers with tailored guidance and high-performance accessible bathroom products in polished chrome, from our Signature Range and Hanson Collection. While the selected finish remains confidential, the product specification reflected the project's overarching goal: refined accessibility without compromise.
Our team brought together technical expertise with design sensitivity to meet the demands of a hotel that celebrates both heritage and innovation. Collaborating closely with Peter Marino Architects, Hopkins Architects, and The Peninsula Hotels, we helped ensure that every accessible washroom aligned perfectly with the broader design intent.

The Result
The result is a seamless integration of accessible bathroom design within the luxurious visual narrative of The Peninsula London. The bathrooms serve both aesthetic and functional excellence – elegantly appointed with beautifully crafted products that ensure ease of use, comfort, and dignity for all guests.
Our contribution helped realise a vision where accessibility supports, rather than disrupts, the interior design – reaffirming the principle that inclusive bathroom design can (and should) be indistinguishable from any other element of a high-end space.

We remain committed to helping design professionals achieve truly inclusive bathrooms that reflect the highest levels of creativity, quality, and care.
