About Park Hyatt, River Thames
Nestled along the River Thames, Park Hyatt London River Thames is a beacon of refined elegance, welcoming guests into a world where art-infused sophistication meets residential comfort. With sweeping views across the water and proximity to London’s cultural landmarks - from the Tate Britain to Sloane Square—the hotel offers an immersive experience of the city, from a fresh perspective. Its centrepiece, a sculptural installation by Charlie Whinney, sets the tone for the sensory journey that awaits inside.
The Brief
Fitzroy of London was brought into this prestigious project by Zheheng Wang, R&F Properties, Hyatt, and the design team at Studio Moren. The brief was clear: design and supply luxury accessible bathrooms that would seamlessly integrate into the hotel’s contemporary aesthetic while meeting stringent accessibility requirements.
Each bathroom needed to reflect Park Hyatt’s uncompromising standards for quality and visual harmony while ensuring complete inclusivity for all guests. The challenge was to deliver inclusive bathroom design that was both functional and beautiful—without compromise.
Our Approach
As accessible bathroom experts, we collaborated closely with Studio Moren and the project stakeholders to ensure every design decision aligned with the hotel’s elegant interiors and operational needs. We specified pieces from our Signature range, selecting the Gosfield Collection in a Polished Chrome finish, known for its timeless silhouette and architectural presence.
Given the operational requirements of the hotel, we also implemented solutions from our removable range - allowing staff to adapt each bathroom discreetly and efficiently to meet the specific needs of guests. This flexibility is crucial in luxury hospitality environments, where personalisation and discretion must go hand in hand.
We conducted technical consultations to ensure compliance with all accessibility standards while keeping the visual language of each space consistent with Park Hyatt’s refined design palette.

The Result
The completed luxury accessible bathrooms are a seamless blend of form and functionality. Every component was chosen not just for compliance, but for its contribution to an elegant and harmonious whole.
The Gosfield Collection enhances each space with its understated grandeur, while the removable elements ensure full flexibility without compromising design integrity. This thoughtful integration of accessible bathroom products allows Park Hyatt to maintain its aesthetic promise across every room - regardless of guest accessibility needs.
Value to the Customer
For a global brand like Hyatt, delivering consistently luxurious and inclusive guest experiences is non-negotiable. Fitzroy of London’s role in this project ensured that inclusive bathroom design was embedded from the outset, not added as an afterthought.
By specifying the Gosfield Collection and utilising our removable range, we empowered the Park Hyatt London River Thames team to offer beautifully designed, fully adaptable bathrooms across the hotel.
Our work demonstrates what’s possible when bathroom design experts are involved early in the project lifecycle - proving that bathroom accessibility and high design can and should co-exist.
