About The Londoner

Located on the south west corner of Leicester Square, The Londoner is a pioneering urban resort by Edwardian Hotels London. Designed to reflect the vibrancy and elegance of the West End, it stands as a bold architectural statement across 16 storeys – housing 350 luxury bedrooms and suites, six unique dining and bar venues, an exclusive guest-only residence, a full wellness retreat, and world-class event spaces including a ballroom for up to 850 guests.

Yabu Pushelberg and Woods Bagot – two internationally celebrated design firms – crafted the interiors to marry glamour with contemporary sophistication. Every inch of the space has been curated for both visual impact and functional excellence, making it a fitting location for one of Fitzroy of London’s standout collaborations in luxury accessible bathrooms.

The Brief

Fitzroy of London supplied products for The Londoner to support a shared vision of inclusive design, ensuring that all guests – regardless of mobility needs – could enjoy the hotel’s high standards of luxury, comfort and style. Our role was to provide elegant, high-performance accessible bathroom products that aligned with the design direction and elevated the overall guest experience.

The challenge lay in achieving full accessibility compliance without compromising the hotel’s sophisticated and theatrical aesthetic.

Our Approach

Collaborating closely with Yabu Pushelberg, Woods Bagot, and Edwardian Hotels London, we supplied products from our Signature Range and the Gosfield Collection, chosen to match the architectural intent of the project.

As accessible bathroom experts, we ensured our products would integrate seamlessly into the space – functioning not just as compliance features, but as design-led elements. Our focus included harmonising product placement, finish, and proportions with the hotel’s broader palette, while adhering to rigorous accessibility requirements.

Each decision reflected our commitment to balancing beauty with practicality, offering solutions that blend effortlessly into the surrounding interior while enabling safe and inclusive use.

The Result

The resulting bathrooms deliver a fully immersive experience, proving that accessible bathroom design can be both compliant and luxurious. Every element works in harmony with The Londoner’s visual language, contributing to a guest experience that is inclusive by design – not as an afterthought.

The project stands as a best-in-class example of how inclusive bathroom solutions can meet the needs of guests while enhancing the ambience of a prestigious hotel environment.

Value to the Customer

Our involvement brought the reassurance of expert consultation, high-quality design-led products, and a deep understanding of accessibility standards. For interior designers and architects, The Londoner exemplifies what’s possible when bathroom design experts contribute meaningfully to the creative process.

By supporting the vision of the designers and maintaining uncompromising standards, Fitzroy of London demonstrated how inclusive design can heighten – not hinder – luxury.
