The Skipper Building at 83 Clerkenwell Road is the complete refurbishment of four linked buildings into flexible workspaces, designed by GPAD. Arranged over five storeys and spanning 19,315 sq ft, the redevelopment includes a new rear extension and external terraces, alongside a new entrance and reception featuring natural materials, feature lighting and bronze detailing.

The wider scheme carefully responds to the character of the existing buildings while creating a contemporary working environment. Tenant amenities form an important part of that experience, with the refurbishment designed to support collaboration, informal conversations and day-to-day usability.

The Brief

Working with Plumb Inn Merchants, Fitzroy supplied an accessible washroom solution from our Signature Range and Gosfield Flangeless Collection in a PVD Satin Brass finish.

The requirement was to support the development with accessible bathroom products that could sit comfortably within a project where material choice and detailing were carefully considered.

The Signature Range and Gosfield Flangeless Collection provided the specified solution, with the PVD Satin Brass finish introducing a refined metallic quality appropriate for the wider material-led approach to the project.
