About Montcalm Mayfair
Montcalm Mayfair is the flagship property of the Montcalm Collection, located on the cusp of Park Lane in a Grade II-listed building. Following a bold transformation, the hotel now embodies a refined blend of heritage and modernity. Architects Holland Harvey led the architectural refresh, while Studio Mica and Studio Est reimagined the interiors with a narrative-driven approach. The result is a rejuvenated space featuring a new signature restaurant - Lilli by Akira Back - a stylish lounge and bar, redesigned communal areas, and a revitalised spa and Grand Ballroom. Every detail reflects a commitment to thoughtful luxury and timeless design.
The Brief
Montcalm Mayfair’s renovation aimed to elevate the guest experience through design that is both elegant and inclusive. The hotel required bathroom solutions that would meet accessibility standards without compromising on style, aligning with its vision of sensitive luxury.
Fitzroy of London was selected to contribute our expertise in luxury accessible bathrooms, ensuring that every space would be as functional as it is beautiful.
Our Approach
In collaboration with Faucets, we specified products from our Signature Range, Gosfield Collection, in a Satin Brass finish. This choice complemented the hotel’s warm, botanical-inspired interiors and added a layer of tactile sophistication.
Our team of accessible bathroom experts worked closely with designers and contractors to deliver bespoke solutions that met both aesthetic and regulatory requirements. We provided technical guidance, layout recommendations, and product customisation to ensure seamless integration into the hotel’s design narrative.

The Result
The bathrooms at Montcalm Mayfair now exemplify inclusive bathroom design at its finest. Each space is crafted to support a wide range of mobility needs while maintaining the luxurious ambiance expected of a five-star hotel.
The accessible bathroom products blend effortlessly into the overall design, with the Satin Brass finish adding warmth and elegance. These bathrooms are not only compliant and inclusive, they are design statements in their own right.
Value to the Customer
Montcalm Mayfair benefited from a design-led approach to accessibility. By partnering with Fitzroy of London, the hotel ensured that its bathrooms were inclusive, compliant, and aligned with its brand of thoughtful hospitality.
Our involvement added value by enhancing the guest experience, supporting the hotel’s inclusivity goals, and reinforcing its reputation for excellence in design and service.
